                  Today perhaps it was the day of doctors. There were 9-10 doctors among the devotees, who attended the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and the Prayan of Sai Satcharitra. As it was the last Thursday of the year large number of devotees came to thank Baba. The house was full and devotees were even sitting in the kitchen besides the 3 bedroom and the main hall. Baba also blessed the devotees fully. Even Honey was oozing from the statue. It is so happening for the last few years that honey is oozing on last  and the first Thursdays of  the year. Till Wednesday there was no Udi from the statue and so we were hoping that honey may start oozing. Baba has fulfilled our hope and honey started oozing from the statue soon after Mrs. Gupta performed her pooja. Honey was falling drop by drop in the katori kept for collecting the honey. I tried to capture the drop falling, but could not. I am attaching few photos of HIS leelas of 25^th Dec 2008.

 

                  Today,  not only Veena Maa had the Udi  in her lap, but many devotees had the Udi in their laps or on their clothes, during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. Water, which was oozing from the charans and was being collected in Thali had to be emptied many times to avoid the spill over from the thali.

 

                  During the recitation. Mrs. Gupta went into doing meditation and when she was in deep meditation, Udi was falling from her lap. All of a sudden she got the jerk and was shaken, Udi of her lap fell on the doctor sitting next to Mrs. Gupta. Dr. Radhika kept all the Udi she could collect from herself. Later on Mrs. Gupta told that she felt that Baba has kept HIS hand on her head at that time.

 

                I have already circulated the letters of the devotees for the prayers on 25^th Dec Mrs. Gupta ( Sai Maa as the devotees call her) prayed for all of them during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and when the feeling of presence of Baba was very strong.

                 

This Thursday the  25^th  Dec  2008 ,  we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).

 

1.          Udi started  oozing from Monday  itself  from the  two photos on the wall  and Hindi words `RAM'  `SHAM'  `OM'  were formed with Udi on one photos. From Photo in the mandir Udi started oozing from Tuesday and also forming the words  `RAM'  `SHAM' and  `OM' on it. There was no Udi oozing from the statue of Baba till Wednesday.

 

2.          Honey started oozing from the statue from Wednesday, which was collected in a Katori. This honey was distributed among all the devotees after the distribution of Bhog, Udi and Holy water.

 

3.          This Thursday also, the Holy Water  started oozing from the Charans from  Thursday early  morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday  itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water. 

 

4.          Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari. Once the Udi fell on the devotee.

 

5.          Many  devotees had Udi  in their laps or clothes during the recitation of  Sri Sai Amrit Vani. 

 

6.          On Thursday as soon as Bhog was offered, it was duly accepted by Baba. We noticed that the Bhog , which was placed before HIM was partially eaten.  Part of Bhog was found in the ‘Bhiksha Patra’ in the photos. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba. Some figures were formed on the remains of Bhog.

 

7.          The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja and Prayer.

 

 

8.          All the  boxes of Bhog,   which were kept on the table were blessed with Udi.

 

9.          Many  photos, papers  and documents,  Sai Satcharitra etc which were placed before Baba and same were blessed without any delay.

                  Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11:05 AM.  Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, started at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer,  Prayan of  last chapter  of Sai Satcharitra was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans.  Lastly the honey was distributed. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences.

They should NOT bring any bhog with them and be in time. Kids are also not allowed in the hall. Mobiles have to be put on silent mode during the Pooja. Please also bring a small bottle with broad neck for the holy water. (If devotees who join us in absentia, find it difficult to recite from 11 AM, they can do it, at any time, as convenient to them.)

Today again Baba had the bhog in HIS ʽBhiksha Patraʼ. Bhog was offered to Baba in the morning and After the Sai Amrit Vani, a small piece of Bhog was in the ʽBhiksha Patraʼ. Today, not only Veena Maa had the Udi in his lap, but 5-6 devotees had the Udi in their laps or on their clothes, during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. Water, which was oozing from the charans and was being collected in Thali had to be emptied many times to avoid the spill over from the thali. Today large number of devotees attended the Recitation and among them many were having health problem. It was strange or it was Babaʼs assurance through Chapter 13 of Sai Satcharitra, which was read after the recitation, that Baba has cured so many devotees in HIS own ways. Last week Chapter 12 was read. Last week also I sent the photos of leelas of Baba, so I am skipping this time.

I have already circulated the letters of the devotees for the prayers on 18th Dec Mrs. Gupta ( Sai Maa as the devotees call her) prayed for all of them during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and when the feeling of presence of Baba was very strong.

This Thursday the 18th Dec 2008 , we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).

1. Udi started oozing from Monday itself from the two photos on the wall and Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on one photo. From Photo in the mandir Udi started oozing from Tuesday and also forming the words `RAM' `SHAM' and `OM' on it. Udi started oozing from the statue of Baba from Wednesday.

8. One devotee felt a slap, as if Baba has given her a slap. She was not doing the meditation properly and she felt that Baba has immediately punished her. The feeling of Babaʼs presence was so strong.

9. All the boxes of Bhog, which were kept on the table were blessed with Udi.

10. Many photos, papers and documents Sai Satcharitra etc which were placed before Baba and same were blessed without any delay.

Today was the first group recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani here, after our visit to USA. Many devotees attended the recitation in person. Besides all the leelas of Baba there was a unique leela of Baba today. We have 2 photos of Baba with ‘Bhiksha Patra’ (begging bowl). In both the photos there were pieces of Bhog in the bowl in both the photos. I append photos of both the photos. In addition I also append 2 more photos of the water ‘jal’ oozing from the charans and the Udi oozing from the photo and the Statue of Baba.

Udi also filled the lap of Mrs. Gupta during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani. Many devotees felt that Baba was smiling during the recitation.

Every week I have to repeat almost the same things as the Leelas of Baba are almost similar, like oozing of the Udi from the three photos in the mandir and One photo in the temporary mandir made on the ground portion of the house. Lap of Mrs Gupta is filled with Udi , during the pooja. I conclude here and append the 2 photos, taken on this Thursday.

Wishing all the devotees a Happy Diwali

This Thursday again Recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan (Reading ) of Sri Satcharitra was done at 2953 Nestle Creek Drive, Marietta, (Atlanta) GA, USA. All the usual Leelas of Baba were there. Udi started oozing from the three photos of Baba in the mandir in Mariatta,(Atlanta) , GA, USA from Monday itself. A Temporary mandir was formed for the sack of doing Sai Amrit Vani on the ground portion of the house on Wednesday evening. Udi started oozing from the big photo in this mandir from Thursday morning. What we are missing here is the holy water from the Charans, which is not here as we are not having any model of Charans here. The number of devotees who attended the Recitation in person were also less. We have been started receiving the calls from New Delhi to come back now. We will be going back on 1st Dec.

Sorry that I was a little bit irregular in writing due to our visit to USA, Last Thursday we were in Columbia, MD and so we did recitation on Thursday there. This week we are in Marietta (Atlanta) and so we did the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sai Satcharitra here in Marietta, Here again the Leelas of Baba were similar to that of Sidhartha Extension, as if Baba is traveling with us and there is no doubt about it. Here we have a small Mandir, where lots of devotees can’t sit, so we made a temporary mandir on Wednesday, downstairs. On Wednesday Udi Started oozing from the three photos in the mandir and from Thursday Udi Started from the photo of Baba kept in this temporary mandir. Even the words RAM, SHAM and OM were formed. I append three photos, taken this Thursday, inspite of describing about them. There are no Charans of Baba here and so there was no question of water oozing from them. The Amrit Vani was also very soothing and peaceful. About 30 devotees attend the recitation.

This time I have already circulated the letters of the devotees for the prayers. Mrs Gupta prayed for all of them during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and when the feeling of presence of Baba was very strong.

Sri Sai Amrit Vani started exactly at 11 AM, followed by brief Meditation at 12 Noon and the prayer, Prayan from Sri Sai Satcharitra was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences. There was some fall outs from some Prasad by devotees on the carpets, so Mrs Gupta requested devotees not to bring Bhog of such nature and rather offer fruits in bhog.

Next regular Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra 2nd Oct will again be held at Marietta GA, USA. Devotees interested in attending it in person may contact on phone no. 770-321-0771. Devotees are also requested not to bring any bhog of sweets, that may fall on the carpet. On 9th Oct the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani will be in Los Angeles, California.
Devotees are also requested to bring their own copy of the script of Sri Sai Amrit Vani.

Sorry that I have become irregular in reporting the Leelaʼs of Baba that happen in Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. I was bussy with the visitors. and for the preparation for the trip to USA. For the similar other various reasons I was not able to write and spend time on the internet. I also could not prepare the list of all the devotees who have sent in the prayer request to Baba. But Mrs Gupta prayed for all of them during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and when the feeling of presence of Baba was very strong.
We will be in USA from 6th Sept to 1st Dec 2008 and may be bussy, so it may not be possible to prepare the list of letters received for the prayers, but all letter will be considered and will be prayed for.
This Thursday Mrs Gupta was presented with a big photo of Baba having the bhiksha patra (tumbler) in HIS right hand. As soon as it, the photo came, it was cleaned by laying it on the table. As Mrs Gupta was cleaning with soft wet cloth and chanting some mantra, Udi started appearing on the photo and soon a very good and clear image of Ganesha was formed with Udi on the photo of Baba. It happed before all of us standing there, it was about the time of recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. When the photo was put on the wall, all the Udi came down. Jai Sai Ram.
As usual this Thursday the 4th Sept 2008 we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).
1. Udi started to ooz from the different photos and Statue of Baba at different stages of time. Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on one photo in the mandir and another photo on the wall.
2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water.
3. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari. Her hands were also filled with Udi.
4. It has also become regular leela of Baba that many other devotees also had Udi on them, in their laps, their shawls or cloths.
5. Several devotees had Udi in the books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani.
6. Bhog , which was placed before HIM was partially eaten. Part of Bhog was on the lips of photo and statue of Baba. Different items were there on lips in different photos. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba.
7. A big piece of Bhog was on the bhiksha patra of Baba.
8. The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja and Prayer.
9. Many photos, papers and documents etc. which were placed before Baba and the same were blessed without any delay.

Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, started at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan from Sri Sai Satcharitra was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences. (If devotees find it difficult to recite from 11 AM, they can do it any time, as convenient to them.)

Greatness of Udi (ITS MIRACULOUS POWERS)

It is well-known that Baba took Dakshina from all, and out of the amount thus collected, He spent a lot on charity and purchased fuel with the balance left with Him. This fuel He threw in the Dhuni - the sacred fire, which he kept ever burning. The ash from this fire was called Udi and it was freely distributed to the devotees at the time of their departure from Shirdi. Udi or ash is the purest substance on earth having tremendous powers of doing and undoing and is the result of sacrifices offered to fire (agni) which purifies everything by destroying whatever is evil. Performing 'Yagha' (Dhuni) is the most pious ritual recommended in the ancient Vedic literature.

There is a deeper underlying significance behind Babaʼs practice of distributing Udi. Baba taught by His Udi that all the visible phenomena in the universe are as transient as the ash. Our bodies composed of wood or matter of the five elements will fall down, become inanimate after all their enjoyments are over, and will be reduced to ashes. In order to remind the devotees of the fact that their bodies will be reduced to ashes, Baba distributed Udi to them. Baba also taught by the Udi that the Brahma is the only Reality and the universe is ephemeral and that no one in this world, be he a son, father or wife, is really ours. We come here (in this world) alone and we have to go out alone. It was found and is even now found out, that the Udi cured many physical and mental maladies, but Baba wanted to din into the devotee's ears the principles of discrimination between the Unreal and the Real, non-attachment for the Unreal, by His Udi and Dakshina. The former (Udi) taught us discrimination and the latter (Dakshina) taught us non-attachment. Unless we have these two things, it is not possible for us to cross over the sea of the mundane existence. So Baba asked for and took Dakshina, and while the devotees took leave, He gave Udi as Prasad, besmeared some of it on the Bhaktas' foreheads and placed His boon-conferring hand on their heads. When Baba was in a cheerful mood, He used to sing merrily. One such song was about Udi. The text of the Udi song was, "Oh, playful Rama, come, come, and bring with you sacks of Udi." Baba used to sing in very clear and sweet tones.

So much about the spiritual implication of Udi. It had also its material significance. It conferred health, prosperity, freedom from anxiety, and many other worldly gains. So the Udi has helped us to gain both our ends - material as well as spiritual.

I will write about our experience at Shirdi this time later on. We also have to prepare for our USA trip as we are going to USA on 6th Sept.

As usual this Thursday the 21st Aug 2008 we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).

We are leaving for Shirdi on 1st August, so that Mrs Gupta may spend 2nd Aug with Baba, being her birthday. I would not be able to access internet till 11th August. On 7th August (Thursday) we will do Sri Sai Amrit Vani at Bhopal. Address of Bhopal will be Mr. G S Singhal G-2/248 Gulmohar Colony, (Near Trilanga). Bhopal. Tel no. 0755-2560149.

As picture tell more than what the words can not, so I had attached 12 photos of Baba and Leelas of Baba with my last letter on the special pooja on Guru Poornima.

All the normal Leelas were there this Thursday also and I am not repeating them. Of course honey was not there.

This Thursday again it was very crowded. It is only after many devotees leave, after taking the Prasad and Jal the real enjoyment comes. Devotees express their feelings, they share their experiences and talk about Baba. This time Mrs. Nirmala Jayaraman, who came from Banglore sang a very beautiful Sai Bhajan to this selected gathering.

I have already sent all the letters received for prayers and for the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani except the confidential ones, but they have been listed, for the sack of acknowledgement. The letters were in three lots. If you don't find your letter in them or in the list, it might have gone along with the spam letters, which are also received in bulk quantity. Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees .

A big and one small photo of Baba was also given to each devotee, who did not received it last Thursday.

GURUPURNIMA CELEBRATIONS AT SAIDARBAR – HYDERABAD.
Sri Saikrishna Brundavanam and Saidarbar-Hyderabad jointly celebrated GURUPURNIMA on 18-7-2008 (FRIDAY) in a grand way.

Morning programme started at 5-00am with suprabhataseva to Baba followed by –kagadaharathi at 5-30am, Babagariki Abhishekam at 6-00am, Alankaram at 7-00am, Nitya puja7-30am, Sudar shanhomam 9-00am, Mahapurnaahuti at 11-30am Madhyan arati performed to Baba at 1200 noon.

At 1-00pm - Released TEN Spiritual Discourses rendered by Saibanisa GopalaRao Ravadaji and Sai Ganaharivillu- Bhakti Gitalu in TELUGU Language on Lord Sainath in Two MP3 CDs by Saibandhu Sri Satyanarayana garu, aged 85 yrs. After releasing of C.Ds at 1-30 pm Annadanam was performed in which more than 200 persons took Baba’s Prasadam on this auspicious day.
Evening programs started at 6-00pm with Sayamkala arathi followed by Sainama Japam at
7-00pm and concluded at 9-00 pm by Sej arathi to BABA.

The main object of taking up MP3 CD s project:

1. Devotees who cannot read and write Telugu but understand Telugu can easily follow these Discourses, Bhakti gitalu and complete their Eleven days parayana.

Before going to USA, we will be going to Shirdi on 1st August. Mrs Gupta wants to spend her birthday on 2nd August with Baba. We will be in Shirdi till 5th evening. From 6th to 10th we will be in Bhopal. Some families will be with us and we have make a halt at Bhopal and hence Recitation of Sai Amrit Vani on 7th August will be held at Bhopal.

As picture tell more than what the words can not so I am again appended 13 photos of Baba and Leelas of Baba on this special pooja on Guru Poornima.

This Thursday Guru Poornima was celebrated and devotees tried to please Baba with their devotion. Baba does not disappoint any devotee. Many devotees had Udi on them during the recitation some had Udi in their books and some on the boxes of Bhog.

Due to Guru poornima , It was very crowded this week. It is only after many devotees leave, after taking the Prasad and Jal the real enjoyment comes. Devotees express their feelings, they share their experiences and talk about Baba.

This time again a piece of Bhog was there in the Bhiksha Patra of Baba. Similar Leela was also there last time and I sent the photo to the members.
I have already sent all the letters received for prayers and for the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani except the confidential ones, but they have been listed, for the sack of acknowledgement. The letters were in two lots. If you don’t find your letter in them or in the list, it might have gone along with the spam letters, which are also received in bulk quantity. So that we can have Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, starts at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Due to Guru Poornima, Chapter 11 of Sai Satcharitra was read by Mrs Gupta. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. A big and one small photo of Baba was also given to each devotee.

Next Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra on 24th July 2008 will again be held at Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. Devotees interested in attending it in person may contact on phone nos. 26346942, 9868966605 or 9312494767 only after 11 AM and before 8 PM (IST) on any day except Thursdays and no calls on Thursdays PLEASE. They should NOT bring any bhog with them and be in time. Kids are also not allowed in the hall. Mobiles have to be put on silent mode during the Pooja. Please also bring a small bottle with broad neck for the holy water. (If devotees who join us in absentia, find it difficult to recite from 11 AM, they can do it, at any time, as convenient to them.)

Next week on 17th July Thursday we will be celebrating Guru Poornima and will try to please our Guru Sai Baba, during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan (Reading) of Sai Satcharitra.
As picture can tell more than what the words can not and I am very poor in describing things so last time I am appended 10 photos photos of Baba and Leelas of Baba.
New members of the group are humbly requested to read few files in the file section and some old messages from the home page before write a letter.
This week it was rather a weeping week, Many devotees literary wept before Baba. During the pooja Mrs Gupta also wept for the reasons known to her and to Baba. The whole atmosphere was so touching as Baba is physically present. It was very crowded this week. It is only after many devotees leave, after taking the Prasad, Udi and Jal the real enjoyment comes. This week a devotee has sent the blank email to me or in other word I received a blank mail. And I informed him about it that there is no request in the letter. He might have thought or written or some how I received a blank mail. Now he has sent a very nasty mail. Which has spoiled my mood. Why I will be against him for not including him in the prayers when he has given the names, place and mentioned that he will recite Sri Sai Amrit Vani? Dear devotees if you have sent the mail and it fulfills all requirement then there is no reason that I will be biased. Rest is all HIS will. Sometimes I may also make a mistake or there may be malfunction. BUT IN FUTURE I WILL NOT ENTER INTO ANY CORRESPONDANCE AND WILL SIMPLY IGNORE SUCH LETTERS.
This Thursday the 10th July 2008, we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi). It may look repetition, but these are the leelas of Baba.
1. Udi started oozing from the different photos and Statue of Baba at different stages of time from Monday onwards. Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on one photo in the mandir and another photo on the wall.
2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water. 3. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari.
4. It has also become regular leela of Baba that many other devotees also had Udi on them, in their laps, their shirts or clothes.
5. Several devotees had Udi in the books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani.
6. Bhog, which was placed before HIM was partially eaten. Part of Bhog was on the lips of photo and statue of Baba. Different items were there on lips in different photos. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba.
7. Almost all the boxes of Bhog, which were kept on the table were blessed with Udi. Udi was there even on the boxes which were down below the other boxes.
8. The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong and many devotees felt HIS presence.
9. Many photos, papers and documents etc. which were placed before Baba and the same were blessed within no time.

It so happened that on Thursday a devotee got the dream at 2 AM and Baba appeared in her dream and asked the devotee to offer a paan. The devotee got surprised as to from where she can get the paan at this hour of the night. She could not sleep and so she switched on the TV. Surprisingly on the TV, there was program of Baba coming on the channel which was opened.
In the morning she did the first thing was to arrange the paan for Baba and offered it here. Baba accepted the Paan and portion of it was found on the Statue, brought by another devotee. It is not surprising ? These are the little Leelas of Baba’s countless leelas.

During the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, three strips of Chandan appeared on the forehead of Baba and Mrs. Gupta and many others saw the lips of Baba moving, as if chewing the Paan.

10. Statue of Baba, brought by a devotee, placed on the table, was blessed with lots of Udi on it.
11. A paan was also accepted by Baba and a portion of it was found on the lap of Baba on the new statue, brought by a devotee.

This time again there was a huge gathering of devotees. Some devotees even had to sit in the kitchen, bed rooms. Yet the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sai Satcharitra was very soothing and peace giving and tension relieving and without any disturbance in-between. Baba called the devotees from Malyasia, USA, Lucknow and Huderabad, besides from far off places near Delhi. There is a lot of difference in attending the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani in person and feeling HIS presence and my describing about it. Mangoes brought by the devotees from Hyderabad was eaten by Baba.
