There was no new Leela of Baba, this Thursday the 20th March.
All were old and continued Leelas, which are mentioned below in this report letter.
Due to malfunction of my laptop I lost few files and have to reconstruct them. How ever I could not construct the compilation of the letters received for 13th March but were received after the compiled letter for 13th was dispatched. Please post your emails by Tuesday night ( Indian Standard Time), so that I may consolidate them by Wednesday and the final list of the devotees, who are going to recite Sri Sai Amrit Vani by Wednesday night.
Following devotees participated in absencia in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja, prayers to Baba ( Shirdi) and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra/ Sai Leelamrit by reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on 13th March 2008 . This time the list is not sorted . However Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees, who wrote to us. In this list only those devotees are included, who themselves recited or read/listen Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places.
This Thursday the 20th march 2008 , we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).
1. Udi started oozing from Monday itself from the two photos on the wall and Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on one photo. From Photo in the mandir Udi started oozing from Tuesday and also forming the words `RAM' `SHAM' and `OM' on it. Udi started oozing from the statue of Baba also from Tuesday.
2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water. 3. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari. Her hands were also filled with Udi.
4. It has also become regular leela of Baba that many other devotees also had Udi on them, in their laps, their shawls or cloths.
5. Several devotees had Udi in the books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani.
6. On Thursday as soon as Bhog was offered, it was duly accepted by Baba. We noticed that the Bhog , which was placed before HIM was partially eaten. Part of Bhog was on the lips of photo and statue of Baba. Different items were there on lips in different photos. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba.
7. The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja and Prayer. Devotees had the feeling as if they all are in Shirdi.
8. All the boxes of Bhog, which were kept on the table were blessed with Udi.
9. Many photos, papers and documents etc which were placed before Baba and same were blessed without any delay.
10 One Sai Satcharitra was placed before Baba and Udi was found inside and also on it after the pooja.

Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11:05 AM. Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, started at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan of last chapter ie 21st of Sai leelamrit was done. It was a beautiful chapter and well explained by Mrs Gupta. It was about the 11 vachan (Assurances) which Baba has given to HIS devotees. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences.
Next Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra/ Sai Leelamrit on 27th March 2008 will again be held at Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. Devotees interested in attending it in person may contact on phone nos. 26346942, 9868966605 or 9312494767 only after 11 AM and before 8 PM (IST) on any day except Thursdays but no calls on Thursdays PLEASE. They should NOT bring any bhog with them and be in time. Kids are also not allowed in the hall. Mobiles have to be put on silent mode during the Pooja. Please also bring a small bottle with broad neck for the holy water.

Letters are received after posting the `letter and requests for prayers', so in that letter We included all the current letters received upto that time for this week and the remaining letters of the last week, which were received after posting that letter and before the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani.
Please post your emails by Tuesday night ( Indian Standard Time), so that I may consolidate them by Wednesday and the final list of the devotees, who are going to recite Sri Sai Amrit Vani by Wednesday night.
Leelas of Baba have become so routine to us that they have become our way of life and we feel, if some Leela does not happen. Like we feel that honey does not ooze so reqularly and it generally happens at the end and the beginning of the year. Sindoor(Kumkum ) oozes only on some important days. Leelas of Baba are different on Ganesh Chaturthi days. We wait eagerly for such occasions.
Today a photo of Baba which was placed before Baba was not blessed with Udi. Devotees were surprised to this Leela of Baba. After some discussion some devotee pointed that the photo was brought in the polythene bag of shoes. Mystery was so soon solved. Apologies were made to Baba and the photo was thoroughly cleaned by Mrs. Gupta. Baba was prayed and again the photo was placed
in the Mandir. There was no surprise and Baba blessed the photo with Udi .
Following devotees participated in absencia in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja, prayers to Baba ( Shirdi) and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra/ Sai Leelamrit by reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on 13th March 2008 (The list is sorted as per their email ids, to avoid duplications) . However Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees, who wrote to us. In this list only those devotees are included, who themselves recited or read/listen Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places.

1. Udi started oozing from Monday itself from the two photos on the wall and Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on one photo. From Photo in the mandir Udi started oozing from Tuesday and also forming the words `RAM' `SHAM' and `OM' on it. Udi started oozing from the statue of Baba from Wednesday.
2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water.
3. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari. Her hands were also filled with Udi.

5. Several devotees had Udi in the books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani.

Part of Bhog was on the lips of photo and statue of Baba. Different items were there on lips in different photos. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba.
7. The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja and Prayer.
8. All the boxes of Bhog, which were kept on the table were blessed with Udi.
9. Many photos, papers and documents etc which were placed before Baba and same were blessed without any delay.
10. On One photo Udi started oozing when it was placed again after cleaning it, as it was brought in the shoes polythene bag. The photo was taken back with due respect.

Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11:05 AM. Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, started at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan of chapter 20th of Sai leelamrit was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences.
Jal and Udi were distributed after the distribution of the bhog.
Next Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra/ Sai Leelamrit on 20th March 2008 will again be held at Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. Devotees interested in attending it in person may contact on phone nos. 26346942, 9868966605 or 9312494767 only after 11 AM and before 8 PM (IST) on any day except Thursdays but no calls on Thursdays PLEASE. I have received few more letters after posting the ‘letter and requests for prayers’, which will be sent to the members in the next letter. For this letter I will consolidate all the requests and prayers received during the week upto Tuesday night ( Indian Standard Time) and send to the members in one letter on Wednesday. If any member wants that his/her letter should be kept confidential or should not be put in this letter, they may write in the subject it self ‘confidential’ or ‘private’ along with Sri Sai Amrit Vani . In this way I will try to keep a balance of both type of members (i) not having too many emails and (ii) circulating the letters of the members.
Today it was Shiv Ratri and we consider Baba as Shiva also. Bath to Baba in the morning is given with the slokas, which are used for Shiva and it is given in the same form as given to Shiva. Today it was a Govt. holiday for Shiv Ratri and so there were many devotees present for the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. Besides the normal Leelas of Baba, there was Udi oozing from the Photo of Shiva and Sindoor from the photo of Maa Parvati ji. Recently we have got a huge photo of Baba as Shiva. Three lines of Chandan were formed on the forehead of Baba in this photo. I have taken many photos from different angels, which are appended with this letter.

This Thursday the 6th march 2008 , we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).
1. Udi started oozing from Monday itself from the statue and the photo in the mandir and two photos on the wall and Hindi words ‘RAM’ ‘SHAM’ ‘OM’ were formed with Udi on one photo on wall and also on the photo in the mandir. In the photo in Mandir many snake type of figures were formed as it was Maha Shiv Ratri today.
2. Udi also started oozing from the photo of Shiva after the pooja and after some time Sindoor also started oozing from the photo of Maa Parvati ji.

Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences.
Jal were distributed after the distribution of the bhog.

Many divotees wants to write to the group about their problems and their prayers, But they have been requested to write directly and not disturb all the members, so on trial bases, I will consolidate all the requests and prayers received during the week upto Tuesday night (Indian Standard Time) and send to the members in one letter on Wednesday. If any member wants that his/her letter should be kept confidential or should not be put in this letter, they may write in the subject it self `confidential' or `private' along with Sri Sai Amrit Vani . In this way I will try to keep a balance of both type of members (i) not having to many emails and (ii) telling them the problems/prayers of others.
On Sunday the 24th Feb, It was our wedding Anniversary and Baba blessed us with Udi. Udi started oozing from the Statue from the early hours. When we woke up and wished Baba, Udi was already there. After some time Udi started oozing from Photo in the mandir and also from all photos on the wall. What a blessing from Baba in the morning itself.

However Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees, who wrote to us. In this list only those devotees are included, who themselves recited or read/listen Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places.
This Thursday the 28th Feb 2008 , we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).
1. Udi started oozing from Sunday itself from the statue and the photo in the mandir and two photos on the wall and Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on one photo on wall and also on the photo in the mandir. Sunday the 24th Feb was our wedding Anniversary and Baba blesses us on our important days.
2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water. 3. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari. Her hands were also filled with Udi.

It was a normal and usual Thursday with HIS usual Leelas. As it was the Valentines day many devotees brought the roses for Baba and a devotee brought the cake for HIM . Cake was blessed with Udi as soon as it was placed before Baba.
We had Sai Bhajan Sandhya on 16th Feb and I got bussy in it। Shortly I will upload the new Bhajans by Sandeep Kapoor, who was the singer of Bhajans this year also in the file section of yahoogroup ‘mysaibaba21’ I will also upload the photos in the photo section of the same group. Udi was oozing from the photo and the statue of Baba in the pandal and it also appeared in the lap of Mrs Gupta. A video recording was also done.
Following devotees participated in absencia in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja, prayers to Baba ( Shirdi) and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra/ Sai Leelamrit by reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on 14th Feb 2008 (The list is sorted as per their email ids, to avoid duplications) । However Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees, who wrote to us. In this list only those devotees are included, who themselves recited or read Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places.Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11:05 AM. Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, started at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan of Extracts of Sri Sai Satcharitra were done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences.

Very Sorry that this week I have to ignore few letters of the old devotees, as they are still writing to the yahoogroup `mysaibaba20' , for the prayers insipte of my repeated letters to them through group as well as individually to write directly to
mailto:veena_gupta_2000@yahoo.com . Very sorry for this. As we receive many letters for prayers and it is not possible to prepare a list of them. However we include them all, in the prayers by Mrs Veena Gupta. We simply prepare a list of all those devotees who give assurance that they will be reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani on that Thursday and pray to Baba themselves also, along with us for all the help by HIM. Even this list is quite big, which is appended along with this letter.

This week also on Sunday the 3rd Feb. Sai bajans were organized in the Mandir of Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. Baba Blessed us with Udi at the time of Abhishek. Udi also appeared on Mrs Gupta's lap during the bhajans. This time the Abhishek was done by the head priest of Lodhi Road Sai Memorial Tample of Baba and the singer was Mr. Sandeep Kapoor. He sang the Bhajan mostly from his cassette, which has been released recently and the bhajans which I have already put in the file section of the yahoogroup `mysaibaba21' Devotees enjoyed the bhajans very much. The occasion was the birthday of the grandson of a devotee.

This year it is proposed to hold the Sri Sai Bajan Sandhya on 16th Feb 2008. Abhishek will be at 5:30 and Aartii will start at 9:45 PM. Our son is also coming from Atlanta, to attend the Bhajans. Other son, along with the family will be coming from Chandigarh. Last year it was held on २४ th Feb 2007. I have converted the Bhajans of last year to MP3 from the Video cassette and have put them in the file section of yahoogroup `mysaibaba21' .

This Thursday the 7th Feb 2008 , we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi)।
1।Udi started oozing from Monday itself from the two photos on the wall and Hindi words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on one photo. Udi also started oozing from the statue and the photo in the mandir from Wednesday. Words `RAM' `SHAM' `OM' were formed with Udi on the photo.
2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water
started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water.
3. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari. Her hands were also filled with Udi.
4. Several devotees had Udi in the books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and on themselves during the pooja.
5. On Thursday as soon as Bhog was offered, it was duly accepted by Baba. We noticed that the Bhog , which was placed before HIM was partially eaten. Part of Bhog was on the lips of photo and statue of Baba. Different items were there on lips in different photos. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba.
6. The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja and Prayer.
7. All the boxes of Bhog, which were kept on the table were blessed with Udi.
8. Many photos/statues and documents etc which were placed before Baba and same were blessed without any delay.

Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11:05 AM. Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, started at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan of Sri Sai Leelamrit Chapter 17 was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences.

The whole week was full of activities. On Sunday the 27th Jan. Sai bajans were organized in the Mandir of Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. Baba Blessed us with Udi even befor the Abhishek, as soon as Mrs. Gupta bowed before Baba and requested HIM to be present here. Udi also appeared on Mrs Gupta's lap during the bhajans. Devotees enjoyed the bhajans very much and so I have put the photos in the photos section of the yahoogroup `mysaibaba21' . There are in all 57 photos in this albumb. Again Sai Bhajans are going to be held at the same Mandir, this Sunday also on the occasion of the birthday of the grandson of a devotee. It will be a private function and arrangement made by Mrs. Gupta.

In the house also Udi Started oozing from the Sunday. It started oozing from the photos on the wall, and from the Photos and statue in the mandir from the Monday. It was the birthday of our son, who is in Atlanta. Our relatives and colleques may forget the birthdays, but Baba invariabily bless us with Udi on all the important days.

Following devotees participated in absencia in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja, prayers to Baba ( Shirdi) and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra/ Sai Leelamrit by reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on 24th Jan 2008 (The list is sorted as per their email ids, to avoid duplications) . However Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees, who wrote to us. In this list only those devotees are included, who themselves recited or read Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places.

This Thursday the 24th Jan 2008 , we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).

1. Udi started oozing from Monday itself from the two photos on the wall and Hindi words ʽRAMʼ ʽSHAMʼ ʽOMʼ were formed with Udi on one photo. Udi also started oozing from the statue in the mandir from Tuesday. Words ʽRAMʼ ʽSHAMʼ ʽOMʼ were formed with Udi on the photo. Some times the word RAM is on the left side and some times it is on the right.
2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. 9. One, rather big Statue of Baba was brought by the devotee from the Chennai and was placed on the table of Mandir. Within seconds Udi appeared on the lap of Baba. Some almonds were brought by a devotee from Canada. Within seconds Udi was alover the almonds and one almont was found in the lap of Baba. One photo of the Statue is appended.

Even One Leela of Baba should be enough, but we here at Sidhartha Extension have become so used to these Leelas and they have become, part of our life. To discribe one Leela one can write in detail and with background etc. , but here I describe the Leelas in the nutshell and unable to express the feeling, which we feel here on these Leelas. Baba also shows us some Leelas some times and some Leelas the other time. To start with the missing Leelas. Today we missed the honey. There was no honey from any photo or the statue of Baba. Last to last Thursday there was lot of honey from the Photo of Baba on the wall. Honey was collected in the trays. Last Thursday honey was oozing from the statue, and it was collected in a katori and some split on the plate. This time there was no Udi on the statue till Wednesday evening, although Udi was oozing from all the photos with usual words of RAM, SHAM and OM. I was expecting that honey may ooz from the statue, but Udi started oozing from the Statue.
It was birthday of our daughter in law on 16th Jan (Wednesday), and as I have already mentioned many times that Baba bless us on these days also with Udi in addition to Thursdays. Now a days Baba have started blessing us even from Monday or even from Sunday and HIS continued presence is there. So what about the blessings for the birthday? Mother of our Daughter-in- law offered Gulab Jaman this Thursday to Baba for the birthday. After the pooja when the box of Prasad was opened. Only half the Gulab Jaman was there and a very beautiful pearl (Moti) was there on the Gulab Jaman. It is not possible to discribe the feelings of the devotees. Hand of Mrs Gupta was shaking and many devotees had tears in their eyes. I attach a photo of the Gulab Janam with the pearl.

A devotee offered milkcake to Baba in the bhog, as usual part of it was missing and some figure was formed on the remaining portion. It was having eyes and nose as if some figure of face. She took the piece on the paper. After some time she took the piece and distributed the milkcake among the devotees. The mark on the paper was clear picture of Baba.

There were other usual Leelas of oozing Udi, formation of words RAM, SHAM. OM. Oozing of Holi Water from the Charans. Eating of Bhog. Udi on Bhog, documents and Lockets. Falling of Suger srystals, etc etc.

Every year we hold Sri Sai Bajan Sandhya and this year it is proposed to hold the Sri Sai Bajan Sandhya on 16th Feb 2008. Last year it was held on 24th Feb 2007. साई बाबा ओं द्वार्कामै इन शिरडी

Sai Baba said, "Hech Aapli Dwarka Matha! Mashid che ye aaki baistha lekhru dehi nirbhayast." Roughly translated, This is our Dwarka Mata (Mother), children sitting in this Masjid shoud be fearless." Sai Baba also said about the Masjid that Masjid was "Mota Kripalu" (tremendously compassionate) , and devotees can easily cross the ocean (beda par) (out of the mundane problems of life to the spiritually highest attainment). He also said that the walls of Masjid were made of gold. If we look at the physical or gross property of the walls of Dwarkamai, with our gross eyes, evidently we see walls made of stones. It was the great spiritual wealth that Dwarka Mai and her walls hold that Sai Baba was referring to.

I have changed my one mobile no. 9810714688 and have taken up 9868966605. Please make a note of it.
Last Thursday Baba has blessed with Honey and it started oozing from the photo on the wall. Immediately 2 trays were placed on the table, below the photo to collect the honey. This honey was also distributed to about 100 devotees. Many devotees took the honey on the Aluminium foil for their family members. This Wednesday there was very little Udi from the Statue and it was expected that honey may ooz from the Statue. Mrs Gupta put a small Katori below the toe of Baba in the night itself, she also place a thali for the charans. In the morning the holi water from the Charans was overflowing the thali and spilled all over and Honey was also falling outside Katori also and immediately one plate was placed below the statue. A large quantity was there in the katori also. I append herewith 3 photos of the Leela of Baba on this Thursday.

This Thursday Udi started oozing from Tuesday from the photos on the walls. On Wednesday Udi falling on the table below, from the photos was making some sound of falling. On examination it was found that along with Udi big size crystals of sugar were there, which were making the sound. These crystals were given to the devotees on Wednesday itself. On Thursday also Udi along with sugar crystals were falling and making the sound. It was just raining sugar crystals along with Udi.

There is a photo of Baba on the glass partition. Only face is there on the big photo and is facing the devotees in the hall. Last week it happened that on this photo, in the middle of the pooja and before all the devotees tilak of Chandan appeared on the forehead. This Thursday Tilak of Chandan was formed in the morning itself.

There were other usual Leelas of oozing Udi, formation of words RAM, SHAM. OM. Oozing of Holi Water from the Charans. Eating of Bhog. Udi on Bhog, documents and Lockets etc etc.

Every year we hold Sri Sai Bajan Sandhya and this year it is proposed to hold the Sri Sai Bajan Sandhya on 16th Feb 2008. Last year it was held on 24th Feb 2007. Abhishek will be at 5:30 and Aartii will start at 9:45 PM. I have converted the Bhajans to MP3 from the Video cassette and will put them in the file section of yahoogroup ʽmysaibaba21ʼ

Following devotees participated in absencia in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja, prayers to Baba ( Shirdi) and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra/ Sai Leelamrit by reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on 10th Jan 2008 (The list is sorted as per their email ids, to avoid duplications) . However Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees, who wrote to us. In this list only those devotees are included, who themselves recited or read Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places.

Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11:05 AM. Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, started at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan of Sri Sai Leelamrit Chapter 14 was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences.

Next Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra on 17th Jan 2008 will again be held at Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. Saibaba materialzing in Physical body for Tarkhad son

Shri Saibaba had deep rinanuband relations with Tarkadhs. We find many stories of Tarkhads visit to Shirdi, their devotion towards Sai Baba and Sai Baba's love and care for them, in the sacred text Shri Sai SatCharitra.

On this blog we have seen Saibaba's approval of worship of His photo as His own worship, and acceptance of offerings made to Him mentally with love and devotion, both incidents with the Tarkhads.
The son mentioned in both the story, his name was Jyotindra. He was studing in St. Xaviers school (the writer also did his schooling in the same same school, Surat branch). It was habit of Jyotindra to have lunch at an Iranian restaurant across the street. Once after the lunch while crossing a street, he was asked for bhiksha by a Fakir. The kind hearted boy gave a paise (a copper coin with a hole in the center), and proceeded further. He was stopped by the Fakir who said that the coin was of 1894. This baffled the boy a bit and he replied that it was okay as he got daily allowance of 4 annas and that the coin he gave to the Fakir was of the current one and so, the Fakir should not worry. The Fakir laughed and said, "Allah Bhala Karega.: (God will do good)
A simple incident as that, rolled out his memory soon. His mother Mrs. Tarkhad was tormented with intense headache and the growing frequency of the same. On being advised by a local Saint of Mumbai (then Bombay), Pir Maulana Sahib she decided to visit Shirdi. She took his son Jyotindran with her on this pilgrimage.
When they stepped in Dwarkamai, they were received by Sai Baba as if He was waiting for them. He turned around to Jyotindra and said, "Bhau (brother), have you recognized me?" Obviously he did not. Sai Baba further lovingly asked him to try and remember if he recognized Him or not.
Then Sai Baba reached for his pocket and withdrew a copper coin from it. Showing the copper coin to Jyatindra, Sai Baba said, "Don't you remember this copper coin dated 1894? The Fakir you gave alms was none other than Me."
It is well known that Sai Baba never left Shirdi except to two surrounding villages in the radius of 5 kilometrers, thus He showed how He materialized in physical body in Mumbai for his love for Jyotindra.
Then Sai Baba returned the same coin to him and said, "Keep this coin and preserve it carefully. It will breed a multitude of paise." Jyotindra use to light diya while he worshipped God. He placed the coin at the base and through the hole in the center of the coin, stood the wick, which he would light.

New Golden Throne for Sri Shirdi Sai Baba

Recently, two brothers donated a throne made from gold to Sri Saibaba Sansthan। Sai Baba now sits on the throne made of gold.

Don't look down or talk down of any Saint or SadGuru

We only know what we have learnt through the screen of our own prejudices. What we have learnt from our environment and society, and that differs from one society to other, one environment to other. This is the root cause of conflict, inward and outward.
Sai Baba often used to tell not to look down or talk ill of others. In one incident described in Sri Sai SatCharitra chapter number 24, Sai Baba expressed his displeasure when a devotee called Mausibai was serving Sai Baba in Dwarkamai, and other devotees felt it could be harsh on Sai Baba's body and asked her to be moderate and gentle in her services. Sai Baba got enraged and forced the satka (the short sturdy stick which He kept with Him), in his abdomen and pushed the other end of satka against a pillar. Sai Baba's eyes were like burning embers. Those present there, could not have thought of minding the other devotees way of worshipping Sai Baba, thereafter.
The following incident with Shama (Madhavrao Deshpande) illustrates the similar viewpoint but rather more serious one.
Saibaba often used to gift Shama with spiritual and religious books. He would also send him to various spiritually charged places, Tirth Yatras and sometimes had to coax Shama for the same.
Once Shama visited Nagpur and Amravati. On returning to Shirdi, he went straight to Dwarkamai to see Saibaba.
Straight away Sai Baba asked him, "Arre Shamyaa, what were the places that you visited?'
Shama replied that he visited Nagpur. Sai Baba furthered his query, "Arre Shama did you go to South Nagpur? There is a golden tree there. Did you see it?"
Sai Baba mostly spoke in symbolic language. Shama was quick to grasp the symbol; he knew that Sai Baba was referring to contemporary saint and a perfect Master, Shri Tajuddin Baba. He replied, "Yes Deva when I was at Nagpur I did visit South Nagpur, Bhosle's (Raojee Raja's) garden and had Darshan of Shri Tajuddin Baba."
Saibaba continued his query and asked him about the other places that he had visited. It is quiet obvious that Sai Baba knew everything, it was displayed all the time while Saibaba meet a new visitor of Shirdi, or the regular devotee, that He knew everything they do or even think, giving them examples. Sai Baba's enquiries to Shama about his visits and experience was to give Shama, very important lessons and teaching, which we will see as the dialogue progresses.
Shama in reply was much eager and excited about the other proceedings. He said that he went to Amravati, followed by darshan of Shri Narayan Maharaj in small village of Bet in Kedgaon. Shama was quite impressed by the big Durbar of Shri Narayan Maharaj, the huge number of people visiting Him for his blessings. He repeatedly showed his getting influenced by the thousands of visitors to Shri Narayan Maharaj. Incidentally the numbers of visitors to Shirdi were quite low comparatively, in those days.
Ganesh Govind Narke who was seated nearby was rather apprehensive, and was eager to hear Sai Baba's reply. Sai Baba remained silent for some time and then replied, "It's like this Shama, only your father is your father. No matter how much He may beat you, shout at you, disagree with you, or punish you. He will always have sympathy and empathy with you, no one else will. I am your father, so what have you to do with others."
It should be noted here that Sai Baba symbolically used the word Father for either one's religion, the deity one worshiped or Spiritual Master or SadGuru.
In His characteristic way Sai Baba gave a very valuable lesson to Shama and through him all of us. Saibaba said, "Don't look down or talk ill of others, especially a Satpurush for the ill effect of it will be seen on the future generations. Your Guru and Father should be treated with love and respect, do whatever Seva you can do for both of them. Have total faith in them, "
Here we should take this lesson of Shree Sai Baba seriously, often we in the heat of our environment can talk ill about other religion, or saint or Sadguru or highly spiritual person. We can never gauge a Sadguru, from our limited knowledge earned form our environment and society, and if we do that it can be very prove very harmful for us and our dear ones.

"Being ignorant since many births, Oh Sai, I haven't known God! By the flash of your mercy, I see God for the first time!"
What is the most important thing one could get from Sadguru Sainath? He Himself said that although He is willing to give from His open coffers, most are not inclined to seek it. After every desire is answered and the truce between needs and wants established, Sadguru begins His work on the chosen ones. The most competent Sainath has innumerable ways that he chooses according to the nature of the devotee.
God vision, the realization of the supreme, the purpose to any quest, realization of the self, knowledge of the absolute, these are some of the descriptors of the dormant quest one might have in the spiritual path. The satsang with Sadguru is never passive! It is not a choice!
Is Saibaba a mere Guru or God himself? This is a stale question as any reader of books on Saibaba can say that Baba appears to those in whatever form they chose. Stories abound where Saibaba appeared as Vitthal, Shiva, Dattatreya, Jesus and other forms of divinity. In spite of this, is there a question whether Saibaba is just a siddha purusha, someone who acquired supernatural powers due to saadhana or He the absolute beyond all siddhis? Is He the God? What is God? What are God's attributes? None is able to describe this. Hence, even the question whether Baba is God or not, is not completely legitimate and at the best can only be a relative rhetoric! To make this simple, if one would choose any form of God within one's confine, describe the attributes of such a form, Rama, Shiva, Jesus, Krishna, Vishnu, Allah or Buddha, all those attributes can be found in the perfect master of Shirdi. If God is defined as an object of faith, the faith will reveal God's form.
CONTRIBUTED ARTICLE: Miracles!
Miracles happen in every one's life on a periodic basis. Some notice it while others do not. Miracles come in various shapes, forms and the effect it has on the person who experiences or witnesses it. Miracles need to be differentiated from a magician's trick. For most people when they experience something out of the ordinary, it appears as a miracle, especially more so if that is tied to some religious or spiritual topic or subject.
For some, a life saved in the most adverse situations is a miracle! For some, things materializing out of nowhere are a miracle! In the early 1960s, western scientists performed controlled experiments on some Mediums (in this context, a medium is a person who can communicate with souls from other worlds using their clairvoyant skills) and noticed that a medium could call on external forces and have the furniture around them moved about or hang in mid air. (One can go on the Internet and read about the experiences of many such great Mediums.)
Witnessing something that seems impossible or out of the ordinary alone should not be labeled as a Miracle. The effect that the said miracle has on both the object and subject are equally important. Nature has in its fold many hidden attributes, properties and laws that we are not aware of. Human beings stumble upon these hidden aspect of nature periodically, discover and later apply them to use. These discoveries have been happening since time immemorial. What seems common like a cell phone or ipod today would be a miracle for someone from the earlier centuries!
Miracles that tend to have materialistic aspects such as materializing objects or things are more geared towards satisfying the ego of a person who craves for influencing, seeing or observing something. It is either help from the other side as a medium or direct knowledge of the hidden laws of nature that are used to perform such miracles. Scientists agree that this universe comprises of atoms and sub atoms that are in constant motion. The whole universe is in constant motion! It is further said that single unbroken particles are rotating around their vortex. According to some Meta physicists, it is the speed at which particles are rotating around its vortex that makes it visible or not. For instance, take a table or mountain, it appears as a solid to the naked eye but deep within each particle is rotating on its vortex but at a very slow speed. On the other hand, consider gas or air, it is also composed of particles that are rotating at a very fast speed around its vortex. By slowing the speed of the vortex of particles one can make the particles appear to the naked eye.
When one embarks on a spiritual journey and constantly practices meditation, one gains knowledge of lot of hidden treasures of Nature. A truly spiritual advanced soul will not use this knowledge for any personal gain. They may use these to aid in healing the sick and needy as the great Reiki masters do. On the other hand, Perfect Masters such as our Sadguru Shri Sai do not need to perform any miracles. They are in such a high state of consciousness that their mere wish becomes the command for Nature! Their mere glance satisfies and nourishes the hungry soul. Cheap miracles are not their calling cards! The biggest miracle Shri Sai performs is to change the nature of the person whom he attracts inside out and continue with it in life after life so that it attains perfection to the same state that He is in!

Baba has not denied HIS Leelas of Honey at the beginning of
this year. For the last few years Baba was blessing us at the end and at the
beginning of the year with Honey oozing from the photos or the statue of HIS. But
this year Baba has delayed HIS Leela. He must be having some reason for this. In
the morning of Thursday itself honey started oozing from the photo on the wall.
Immediately 2 trays were placed on the table, below the photo to collect the
honey. This honey was also distributed to about 100 devotees. Many devotees took
the honey on the paper foil for their family members.

This Thursday being the 1st Thursday of the year was full of new
Leelas. We do recitation with the help of Cassette. At one place we have to
change the direction of the cassette. At that time we all continue to recite the
Sai Dhun ` Om Sai Sri Sai Jai Jai Sai' . At that point, just before 2 paras of
Dhun, Cassette stopped, Power indication was there. After 3-4 paras Mrs. Gupta
changed the side. Even then Music system did not start, although power was there.
By this time we had recited Dhun about 7-8 times. There was anxity, as what to
do now. Then all of a sudden it started again of its own.
It is HIS game to test us. During this time devotees saw a shadow zooming in the
hall from near the Music System towards the Mandir in the Hall. Many devotees
felt the same phenomenon, which they discussed after the pooja.

One more Leela was that during the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit
Vani, was the appearance of the three lines of Chandan on the fore head of Baba.
There is a photo of Baba on the glass partition. Only face is there on the big
photo and is facing the devotees in the hall. It happened on this photo in the
middle of the pooja and before all the devotees.

During the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani Devotees heared
the sound `Alaha Oh Akbar' 3-4 times from the Music system. Although there is no
such sound in the Cassette and is being played every week.

Sorry, I am late this Thursday in posting the letter, as I was bussy otherwise and was not home. On Thursday night Mrs Gupta cleaned all the photos and the statue of Baba and from Friday, again, Udi has started oozing from the photos and Statues and also forming the words and characters. May be due to the year ending blessings.

Today a strange Leela of Baba happened. During the Madhyan Aartee after the recitation ot Sri Sai Amrit Vani, the chitcani (Lock) of the door simply dropped and door opened. Devotees felt a shodow coming in. Many devotees had the same feeling. I was in the adjacent room and felt a strong wind blowing in the room. I was so exited in that room even and what to say of the devotees in the main hall seeing the shadow. Many devotees also felt that there was a sound of Napeeri (Shenai) along with the other instruments of music in the cassette this Thursday. There was yet anpother new thing happened. This time there were all the sysbols on the photo of Baba in the mandir. There was a Cross, Chand – Sitara, Onkar and OM, besides RAM and SHAM and Trishool ( I was thinking of taking a picture, but could not as I had to leave home immediately after the Pooja and returned only in night). However we were missing the honey, Honey used to come in the last two weeks and the first two weeks of the year. This was happening regularly for the last two years.

During this week, Mrs Gupta visited Agra and Gurgaon and on both the place when Mrs Gupta did pooja of Baba, Udi oozed from the Statue and photos of Baba.
Every year we hold Sri Sai Bajan Sandhya and this year it is proposed to hold the Sri Sai Bajan Sandhya on 16th Feb 2008. Last year it was held on 24th Feb 2007. Abhishek will be at 5:30 and Aartii will start at 9:45 PM.

Following devotees participated in absencia in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja, prayers to Baba ( Shirdi) and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra/ Sai Leelamrit by reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on 27th Dec 2007 (The list is sorted as per their email ids, to avoid duplications) . However Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees, who wrote to us. In this list only those devotees are included, who themselves recited or read Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places.

This Thursday the 27th Dec 2007 , we enjoyed the following Leelas of Baba (of Shirdi).

1. Udi started oozing from Friday itself (due to Eid) from the two photos on the wall and Hindi words ‘RAM’ ‘SHAM’ ‘OM’, Chand – Sitara, and Cross were formed with Udi on one photos. Udi also started oozing from the statue in the mandir from the same time. On Thursday there was ‘ONKAR’ also on the photo in the mandir. Some times the word RAM is on the left side and some times it is on the right.
2. This Thursday also, the Holy Water started oozing from the Charans from Thursday early morning. A Thali was placed in the night of Wednesday itself, as water starts oozing from the early morning. Thali was emptied several times. The taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara mix. This water was also given to the devotees and again the Thali was filled with water.
3. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with lots of Udi during the prayers. Udi was in the folds of the falls of the Sari.
4. Several devotees had Udi in the books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani and on themselves during the pooja.
5. During the Aartee door got unlocked with a sound and opened itself. A shadow (Baba) appeared to have entered in the room.
6. On Thursday as soon as Bhog was offered, it was duly accepted by Baba. We noticed that the Bhog , which was placed before HIM was partially eaten. Part of Bhog was on the lips of photo and statue of Baba. Different items were there on lips in different photos. Parts of the remains in the box were given to the devotees who offered that item of bhog to Baba.
7. The feeling of Presence of Baba was very strong during the recitation of Sai Amrit Vani, Pooja and Prayer. This time again many devotees saw Baba walking through them. So many devotees having the same feeling. Is it not the Leela of Baba?
8. All the boxes of Bhog, which were kept on the table were blessed with Udi.
9. Many photos/statues and documents etc which were placed before Baba and same were blessed without any delay.

Jai Sai Ram

Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at 11:05 AM. Noon Aartee, the same Aartee which is being recited in Shirdi, started at 12:00 Hrs. followed by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan of Sri Sai Leelamrit Chapter 12 was done. Mrs. Gupta offered prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of Prasad and the water from the Charans. As usual some devotees talked about their experiences.

Udi was not distributed this Thursday, but all the Udi and a bottle of Holi water was given to Mr. Bassi , for sending the same to the Certres where Group Recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani is being done, and are on his list.

Next Sri Sai Amrit Vani and Prayan of Sri Sai Satcharitra on 3rd Jan 2008 will again be held at Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi. Devotees interested in attending it in person may contact on phone nos. 26346942, 9868966605 or 9312494767 only after 11 AM and before 8 PM (IST) on any day except Thursdays but no calls on Thursdays PLEASE. They should NOT bring any bhog with them and be in time. Kids are also not allowed in the hall. Mobiles have to be put on silent mode during the Pooja. Please also bring a small bottle with broad neck for the holy water.
