Satsang Sri Sai Amrit Vani - 02/09/2006

9th Feb 2006
Jai Sai Ram
There was only little difference in
the Leela of Baba this week from the last week.  Last
Thursday it was Basant Panchmi and this Thursday it
was Muhharam. Last time there was Swastic and OM were
formed with Udi on one photo, (I enclosed the photo of
that photo with my letter.) This time a Chand Sitara
was formed in place of OM on the same photo.
Persons attending the Sai Amrit Vani in person also
increased.   There were more than 120 devotees who
participated in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani
in person from 11 to 12:30 Hrs.  The hall and the
adjacent room were full to capacity. Many devotees had
to stand outside inspite of the increased capacity
created inside and in the covered courtyard.  Many
devotees from the yahoogroup 'mysaibaba20'  from New
Jersy, Pennsylvania (U.S.A). Banglore, Gujrat and
Bombay were also there and enjoyed Leelas of Baba.
Udi started appearing and dropping from
the photos, as usual but from Tuesday the 7th Jan from
the photo on the wall. From 8th Feb Udi started from
the main photo and also other photos in mandir and
other photos on the wall. There was no Udi from the
Statue.  Honey started coming and dropping from the
statue from the morning of Thursday. This time also
honey was in huge quantity.
                Jai Sai Ram.

We were able to see the following Leelas of Baba on
Thursday the 9th  Feb 2006.

1.      Udi started appearing and dropping from the photo
on the wall  from Tuesday and from the  photo in the
mandir on Wednesday the 7th Feb. As usual the words
formed with Udi were again 'RAM' and 'SHAM' 'OM' and
Trishool.
2.      Symbols of Swastic and Chand Sitara appeared on one
photo. Last week Swastic and OM were there on this
photo.
3.      There was a lot of Water from the Charans. This
water was collected in the plate.  Water tasted and
smelled of Chandan. After Amrit Vani this water was
given to the devotees and again the plate was filled
with water. Jai Sai Ram.
4.      As usual Mrs. Gupta did her morning pooja and
offered the Bhog to Baba. After the Sai Amrit Vani
this box and bhog was taken out by Mrs Gupta and we
saw the box with half eaten articles, imarti was less
than half. Samosa was partly eaten. 'OM' , Swastic and
some other figures were found on pieces of Burfee,
Kalakand, Ladoo etc. There were 17 items of Bhog in
the box  this Thursday.
5.      We could see the parts of the bhog on the lips of
Baba. Different things were there on lips of Baba in
different photos and statue.
6.      All the boxes of Prasad were blessed with Udi and
People/devotee collected the Udi on the papers.
7.      Lap of Mrs Gupta was filled with Udi during the Sai
Amrit Vani. Beside Mrs Gupta many devotees also had
Udi in their books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani. Which they
also collected in papers.
8.      Many devotees felt the presence of Baba during the
recitation of Sai Amrit Vani.
9.      The Charnamrit of Baba was also sweet as if some
honey has been mixed into it.
10.      Many idols and photos of Baba were placed in the
Mandir by Mrs Gupta on the request of the devotees.
All were blessed with Udi.

Jai Sai Ram

All about Sai Amrit Vani

Jai Sai Ram

Sri Sai Amrit Vani an interesting,
spiritual, simple and meaningful literature in lyrics
form and we have adopted in our life. It  has been
composed by Sh. V K Bassi, who is managing  the
activities of  Sri Ram Bhakt Society at Shivalik,
Delhi,  The material  has mostly been taken from Sai
Geeta, Sri Saicharitra and Sri Ram Amrit Vani. In the
book form, it was first printed around 1997.  It has
been sung by Sh. Jagdish Kalra and recorded on a 60
minutes cassette and hence it is a complete one hour
program in Hindi. The cassette is 30 minutes on each
side. It has been converted to MP3 files from the
Audio cassette into two files. These files are of 30
MB each and have been put on the internet. The script
of it in Hindi and English is  available on the
internet. The program has few parts. (i) Sai Amrit
Vani (ii) Bhajans  (iii) Pads (iv) Prayers (v) Vandna
and the (vi) Aartee. There is no specific time to do
Sri Sai Amrit Vani,. It can be done at any time of the
day at any place, but when it is done in the mandir
before Baba then one should clean oneself and put some
Bhog before  Baba. We all recite together along with
the cassette. These two MP3 files can be down loaded
and have been down loaded and put on the CD's by few
devotees and are being played on the CD players. Few
devotees are distributing these CDs, Cassettes and the
books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani free of cost to needy
devotees, who does not want to purchase them.

                    Every Thursday recitation of Sri
Sai Amrit Vani is held at Sidhartha Extension, New
Delhi,  but we have slightly changed the order.
Instead of the general Aartee in between  we do the
full Noon Aartee after it, as being done in Shirdi.
It is followed by group prayer and a chapter from Sai
Satcharitra is read by Mrs Gupta. It starts exactly at
11:05 AM and goes upto 12. Noon Aarti is performed
exactly at 12:00 and reading from Sai Satcharitra
after the noon Aarti. It goes upto 12:25 or so. During
this Sri Sai Amrit Vani, reading from Sai Satcharitra,
Prayer and Aartee Mrs Gupta's lap is filled by Udi.
Even other devotees feel the presence of Baba in
different forms and have many different experiences.
Every Thursday and some important days and festivals
Udi starts coming and dropping from the Statues and
the photos of Baba. Some times even Honey drops from
the photo of Baba on the wall.

Satsang TUNE IN SAI (December 1983)

TUNE IN SAI (December 1983)
I just received a letter from Sai Brother, Mr. T.A. Rama Nathan from
Sarangabad in which he had added a postscript :-
"Tune in 25, you get Radio Ceylon
Tune in Sai, you get Sai-grace alone"
How true a statement it is ? I was just pondering over two incidents in the year 1982 in which Sai-grace saved me in time.
I am working in Malnad area of Karnataka, which is known for rainfall, rich greenery, picturesque hills, beautiful natural scenery. June - July - August are the months when it rain cats and dogs and we sometimes do not see the sun at all.

7th July 1982 - was a fateful day for me. I was going on my Bullet
Motorcycle from my residence in Yelemadlu estate to the hospital in
Karkicondah, which is 4 kms away. I had to pass through a hilly road full of ups and downs, topsy - turvy curves and dense forest all around. As it was raining incessantly, even though I was wearing a helmet and a raincoat, I was almost drenched. Even though it was around 9 a.m., still mist was present.

After my marriage I have reduced my speed from 90 km to almost half of it and sometimes even less than that. As I was riding I suddenly heard a big sound - a tall hefty tree falling one ! The uprooted tree and the sound made me dazed and I lost control of the bike. I cried out for my saviour 'Sai Ram' and applied breakes unknowingly. I thought my end had come. Simultaneously the tree fell across the road with a big bang and my bike too hit the fallen tree-trunk with the engine getting off. It was all in a fraction of a second and I was thrown off the vehicle. It was all a razor's
edge that I escaped being jammed by the tree.

Slowly I got up and looked around. I was practically unhurt and the bike was also damaged very little. I returned to the shop close by and from there range up our Estate manager to send a rescue team to remove the road block. It was an old tree and possibly it might have been uprooted by the fast wind and rainfall. A glance at its trunk, which had a diameter of more
than five feet, made me shudder as I could imagine what would have happened if I was caught beneath it!
I am definite that it is Sai's ever vigilant grace on me that timed by bike to stop suddenly which itself it a great miracle.

Three months later, I had a similar experience. It was the 13th October 1982. I wanted to meet one of my friends, Dr. G.R. Ganesha Rao, who is practicing in Shanthigram - a village 20 km from our place. Since my motorcycle was out of order, I took our Company bike (an Yezdi) and took my assistant, Mr. Mingely D'Souza to go to Shanthigram.

After meeting Dr. Ganesha Rao, I was returning. I had to get down a hillock and then to cross a small bridge. As I was riding downwards, suddenly the bike started going in a zig-zag manner (fortunately there was no traffic) and I lost control over It. I was also frantic and could hear my Assistant 's yelling 'Sir' 'Sir'. I thought the vehicle would hit the culvert and
both of us with have a watery grave in the stream 50 feet below. I cried out for Sai's help, before we were thrown off the vehicle.

The bike had a puncture of the rear wheel and this was the cause for its zig-zag running. We were on the right side of the bridge and the vehicle had just hit the culvert. Both of us were saved by Lord Sainath's grace.

Sometime later a forest guard, who was also riding an Yezdi bike, had a puncture of the rear wheel and hit the culvert and had an instant death.
Tune in Sai, you get Sai grace alone !

Karanataka.
