Sri Sai Bajan Sandhya which was held on
24th Feb, 2007 was so memorable that it is in our
mind all the time. During the Bhajans Udi appeared two
times in the lap of Mrs Gupta. There were two big
Statues on the dias. The smaller Statue of about 2
feet was moving and was even pointed out by the singer
of the Bajans. Many devotees also noticed it and are
discussing about the Bajan Sandhya. The event was
covered by video and as well as on the audio cassette
and now they are being run all the time. Few photos of
the Sandhya have already been posted. Udi was also
oozing from the statue and the main photo of the
mandir of the house. These photo and statue were also
moved to the dias along with the plate below them .
Our son from Atlanta and younger son with family from
Chandigarh also came here and attended the Sandhya.

Following devotees participated in
absencia in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani by
reciting Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places on 8th
march 2007. The list is sorted as per their email ids.
However Mrs. Gupta prayed for all the devotees. In
this list only those devotees are included, who
themselves recited or read Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their
places. The names of the devotees “for prayer”, are
prayed for, but not included in the list. Kindly
mention clearly, against each devotee’s name that
he/she will recite or read or listen to Sri Sai Amrit
Vani, or only for prayers. Please also give the name
of the place.
This Thursday we enjoyed the following
Leelas, along with the devotees from Chennai and
Bombay.

1. Udi started appearing and oozing from the two
photos on the wall from Monday, Hindi words ‘RAM’
‘SHAM’ and ‘OM’, and figure of Trishool were formed
with Udi on one photo. On Tuesday Udi started oozing
from the main photo in the mandir. Hindi words ‘RAM’
‘SHAM’ and ‘OM’ along with other figures were also
formed on the photo in the mandir and Udi started
oozing and falling from the Statue from Wednesday
morning.
2. A Beautiful statue of Baba of Dwarka Mai pose
(Made in China) was presented to our son and was
placed in the mandir. This statue was also blessed
with Udi as soon it was placed and Mrs gupta did her
morning pooja. Udi Started oozing from the Charans.
3. There was lot of Water from the Charans this week
also. This water was collected in the Thali. The
taste of water was similar to gulab jal and kewara
mix. After Sai Amrit Vani, this water was given to the
needy devotees and again the Thali was filled with
water. This water was taken out of thali 3-4 times
throughout the day and was given to devotees till
evening. Devotees even bring bottles to take the water
home.
4. Lap of Mrs. Gupta was filled with Udi during the
prayers. Udi was there between the falls of the Sari
and all over the sari.
5. Udi also appeared on many other devotees and also
in the books of Sri Sai Amrit Vani.
6. On Thursday as soon as Bhog was offered, it was
duly accepted by Baba and after the Sri Sai Amrit Vani
we noticed that the box, which was placed before HIM
was partially eaten and partially remained pieces of
items in the box. Part of Bhog was on the lips of
many photos and statue of Baba. These parts of the
remains in the box were given to the devotees who
offered that item of bhog to Baba.
7. Presence of Baba during the recitation of Sai Amrit
Vani was very strong.
8. All the boxes of Bhog which were kept on the table
were blessed with Udi,
9. The Charnamrit, the water in which Baba took the
bath in the morning was also sweet as if some honey
has been mixed into it.
10. On the table below the photos, small crystals of
sugars were also found along with the Udi.
11. Many documents, Pandents photos and papers, of
devotees kept in the mandir room, were blessed with
lots of Udi as soon as they were placed there.
12. One Sai Satcharitra, which was placed before Baba
was blessed with lots of Udi on it and also inside
the pages of it.

Sri Sai Amrit Vani started at
11:04 AM. Noon Aartee started at 12:00 Hrs. followed
by brief Meditation and the prayer, Prayan of one
Chapter from Sai Satcharitra. Mrs. Gupta offered
prayers and thanks to Baba. Finally distribution of
Prasad, Udi and the water from the Charans.

Devotees are requested to write clearly
if they are reciting or reading Sri Sai Amrit Vani
along with us in their places. Not in ambiguous form
like ‘We will follow along’. Such letters will be
treated as for prayers. Following listed devotees
participated in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani (
in absentia) and have either recited or read or
listened Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their places. Other
devotees were also prayed for but their names have not
been listed. Here problems of the devotees are
mentioned, as many problem are not supposed to be
made public and are confidential in nature and purely
personal.

Next Sri Sai Amrit Vani on 15th March,
again will be held in Sidhartha Extension, New Delhi.
Devotees interested in attending it in person may

9312494767 only after 11 AM (IST) on any day except
Thursdays but no calls on Thursdays PLEASE. They
should NOT bring any bhog with them and be in time.
Kids are also not allowed in the hall. No disturbance
is tolerated during the Sri Sai Amrit Vani .

Sri Sai Amrit Vani is now
available in Tamil script also besides in Devnagri,
English and Telgu, in the file section of the
yahoogroup. Links of Audio MP3 files are given in the
link section of the home page of ‘ mysaibaba20’

Audio Mp3 file has also been made available in the

in addition to any other pooja or sewa or prayer that
you are doing.

Baba eradicating the distress of Sabtnekar
* Shevade and Sabtnekar were preparing for Law degree examination. Of all the
people Shevade's preparation was very poor but he was confident that Shirdi
Baba had assured him sucess. All laughed and Sabtnekar too. * In 1913 when
Sabtnekar was a practicing lawyer, his son died of a mysterious throad aliment.
The grieving father on his pilgrimage to holy shrines came to
Shirdi. When he came to masjid for darshan, Baba drove him away shouting 'Get
out' , Nobody's plea helped to change his command , Sabtnekar returned with
heavy heart. A year later his wife dreampt that as she was going to fetch water from the
village well, a fakir addressed her thus : 'Girl, why exhausted for nothing? I
will fill your pitcher with water'. The couple figured out that it was none
other than Baba and came to Shirdi. Though Baba welcomed Sabtnekar initially
with the same phrase 'Get out', He later allowed him to hold his divine
feet.He told the assembled people: 'What for this man comes here and weeps? He
accuses Me of having killed his child.Am I a slayer of children? Well! Now
itself I will do this. I will place the very same child in the womb of his
wife.' Then placing his hands on Sabtnekar 's head, Baba said:" These feet are
Ancient and Divine.Now you will have no worry. Trust in Me." As blessed by
Baba, in a year the lady delivered a male child named Muralidar and as an
eight month old baby was placed at the feet of Baba.

Baba recollecting previous births events Only refuge at the lotus feets of
saints would eradicate our sins.Baba narrated the following episode:
* "One day under a tree on a river bed when I was puffing my hookah a paaserby
joined me to share it. At that time we heard the loud croaking of a frog.I
told him that 'a frog is tasting the fruits of its bitter karmas of past'.
That man went and saw near the river bank and came saying that a big black
cobra had caught a big frog and the frog's life would be over in ten or twenty
minutes.I questioned how was that possible when I , its father was very much
there and went to river bed, against the protest of the man that the cobra
would attack us.I went near the cobra and said ' Oh Veerabadrappa ! Have you
not shed your hatred on Basappa even after your taking rebirth as a cobra.
Despicable' . Immediately the cobra dropped the frog and dived into the river
and disappeared while the frog leaped into the bushes. To the bewildered
passerby I narrated of the cobra and frog .' There was a Mahadeva temple
around here.The rich man of the place swindled the money given by the
residents for renovating the temple.The Lord appeared twice in the dream of
the rich man's wife and told her that if she gave her jewels to the temple
work He would return it hundred fold. The crooked man valued the jewels at Rs.
1000, retained them and gave to temple a waste baren land.Even that was not
his but belonged to one Dubagi,who had pledged it with that man.Thus, the
miser cheated everybody from God.Strange things happened.Lightning struck and
the rich man and his wife died,Dubagi too. The rich man was reborn as a poor
Brahmin [Veerabadrappa], his wife as the daughter [Gowri] of the temple priest
while Dubagi as the son [Basappa] of the assistant of the temple priest. The
girl Gowri worshipped Me and I assured the priest that her husband would come
of his own accord.Veerabadrappa on his wanderings for food from place to place
came to this place for alms. On my advice the priest gave Gowri in marriage to
him. Suddenly land price spiraled up and the baren land fetched one lakh
rupees.[Exactly a hundred times the estimated value of the jewels in previous
birth.] I told that Gowri was the sole owner of the sale proceeds, half the
interest amount belonged to Basappa and not a pie to Veerabadrappa. A
ferocious Veerabadrappa abused Me and vowed to cut Basappa into
pieces.Basappa sought my refuge and I assured to protect him. Then
Veerabadrappa and Basappa died and took rebirth as cobra and frog.True to My
assurance to Basappa , God sent me in time to save him. God be praised".Moral: As you sow, so you reap. By A. Govindakrishnan

Chapter 46:::Baba's trip to Gaya
* Dhikxit had arranged for the sacred thread ceremony of his son at Nagpur,
while Nana Chandodkar's elder son's marriage had been scheduled at Gwalior at
the same time.Both invited baba to participate .Baba told them to take Shama
for the functions and said : After Shama visits Kasi and Prayag , we will be
ahead of him at Gaya.' Watch out for Baba's miracle.After attending the
functions and visiting Kasi and Prayag,Shama reached Gaya . A Brahmin guide
[Gayawallah] took him from the rail station to his house. On entering that
house,Shama started weeping with ecstasy, on seeing the big photo of Sai baba
there.[' We will be ahead of him at Gaya'.] Further discussions revealed that
it was the same picture that Shama gave to Gayawallah with baba's permission
when the Gayawallah visited Shirdi ten years ago. The thrilled Gayawallah
accorded royal treatment to Shama.
* Once Baba bought two goats from a herd at four times their price, gave
lentil to eat, affectionately patted them and then released them in the
herd.People objected to the price paid.Baba said that they were his friends in
the previous birth and as they killed each other over property dispute inspite
of they being brothers, they had taken birth as goats. .He added that sinceHe
recognized them in the herd that passed by and wanted to give some solace and
rest,He purchased them. He said further that as this venture was not to others
liking, He let them back in the herd.
